OMAX Waterjet added to Warrenton Steel
Warrenton Steel is proud to announce the purchase of an OMAX abrasive water jet with a 10’ x 20’ cutting envelope’ where there is more space to fit it in your material. OMAX is the top of the line machine when it comes to waterjets. The OMAX abrasive waterjet utilizes a high-pressure stream of water and abrasive garnet to erode a narrow line in the stock material. Since the machine uses a cold cutting product, no heat-affected zones like those caused when cutting with laser or plasma. Waterjet can cut nearly any material available, including titanium, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and alloy of all types.
